Netflix released the main poster and trailer for its upcoming original series ‘Bloodhounds 2’ (directed by Kim Joo Hwan) on March 19, promising an upgraded level of action and intense fight sequences. The newly revealed visuals immediately ramp up anticipation with high-octane hand-to-hand combat and electrifying energy.
The poster captures the fierce clash between Kim Geon Woo (Woo Do Hwan), Hong Woo Jin (Lee Sang Yi), and Baek Jung (Rain), highlighting the speed and power of the series’ signature bare-knuckle action. The tagline, “A high-stakes illegal gambling arena, biting until the end,” hints at the larger, more dangerous battles that await in this sequel.
The trailer showcases relentless punches, high-speed fights, and life-or-death confrontations. Baek Jung, now a rising star in the boxing world, issues a perilous challenge to Geon Woo: “I’ll give you 10 billion KRW (about 6.7 million USD). Let’s have one fight, just you and me.” Refusing the offer sets the stage for a deadly showdown, as Geon Woo and Woo Jin prepare to fight to protect everything they hold dear.
Director Kim Joo Hwan commented, “‘Bloodhounds’ has always explored themes of friendship, humanity, and the struggle over money. The global illegal boxing league is the perfect arena to bring these themes to life,” further raising expectations for the series.
‘Bloodhounds 2,’ consisting of seven episodes, will premiere on Netflix on April 3.
