BTS's Suga didn't attend the '2020 MAMA' after surgery but trends worldwide

BTS's Suga recently announced his hiatus from the group's activities as he underwent shoulder surgery.

The group attended the '2020 MAMA awards' on December 6 without Suga to receive their awards and perform. During the 'Album of the Year' award acceptance speech, Suga deliver his speech through a phone call and said, "I want to say thank you so much to ARMYs for giving us the album of the year award.. continuing from last year, it's the most loved album, isn't it? We too worked hard in the US and then brought it with us, and we've been really thankful for all the love it received."

Suga was active on Weverse during the event. But what shocked ARMYs the most is his appearance on 'Life Goes On' performance as he comes out from a door and sang his part of the song. They used Volumetric Video capturing technology for Suga's part.

'Yoongi,' 'SUGA,' 'Suga hyung,' 'Yoongi on the phone,' 'Even Yoongi' trends simultaneously worldwide on Twitter.

BTS also won 8 awards, including 4 Daesangs and Suga won 'Best Collaboration' with singer IU.
