BTS ARMY is outraged on learning vocal line members are allegedly treated unfair by BigHit Entertainment

BTS ARMY thinks that BigHit Entertainment is not doing justice to some ofthe vocal line member's talent and popularity.

Recently, the founder and co-CEO of Big Hit Entertainment Bang Si-Hyuk gave an interview to the TIME magazine where he talks about how the group and the company work together behind the scenes.

Some statements/comments made by Bang Si-Hyuk have caused outrage amidst fans.

1. When asked the question, "How did you find and train the seven members of BTS?" Here's how Bang Si-Hyuk answered. He went forward to only mention the Rap Line members and describing them as the musical pillars while mentioning vocal line members as just a later stage "addition".

Fans were quick to mention how the vocal line members deserve better. Also, pointing out how they have been way more than just an "addition" to the group and how they add the most to the group.

2. Bang Si-Hyuk also went ahead and commented on the overall artistic freedom and solo song/album opportunities given to the group. Here's what he had to say. "What’s unique here is that Big Hit doesn’t produce solo projects. We emphasize the team image. But of course the members are individuals and have their own identities, so we encourage and support mixtapes and free release songs, which allow the artist to express themselves with less liability than an official solo project."

This also raised a lot of red flags. The fans also stated that rap line members have released mixtapes, solo songs, and various collabs that were produced and promoted by BigHit Entertainment including the recent release by member J-Hope.

Some of them even expressed their disappointment in the founder & the company on how they are treating the global superstars BTS.

While all the solo songs by the vocal line members Jimin, V & Jin are now on a free platform SoundCloud for streaming, the rap line has their mixtapes, collabs all on paid streaming platforms, this also includes the collaboration Jungkook and RM had with Steve Aoki for "Waste it on me"

All these alleged discrepancies in how BigHit Entertainment treats some of the vocal line members have caused immense discontent among ARMY.
