TWICE Becomes Emotional During Concert, Reassures Fans They Will Remain as Nine & Will Come Back Stronger
TWICE completed their Singapore concert tonight following JYP Entertainment's official announcement that one member of the group, Mina, will be pulled out from the rest of their World Tour due to health concerns.
The performances carried on as usual but Mina's parts were not taken over by any member and live feeds on the screen still included a photo of her.
Mina's parts are just being played by the backtracks... none of the members are singing over her parts, so you can still hear her voice ㅠㅠ💕
However, during one of their stages where they performed their ballad, After Moon, some members were seen wiping their tears as the audience turned on their lightsticks using Mina's official color.

I've watched a lot of idol groups as a Kpop fan for years and you can immediately tell when a group's chemistry is natural or forced. With TWICE, although I don't follow them much, based on random videos I see of them and articles online too, they seem to have sincere closeness with each other. Having a career where you are able to do what you are passionate about is good but to be surrounded with people who share the same dream and genuinely support you and not see you as a competition but a family is great. Their fans may have started liking them because of their catchy music, or maybe their visuals and individual personalities, but I think their strong bond and "family vibe" made their supporters stay. It's always nice to follow groups who inspire you to build good relationships with your real life friends and family.
I hope Mina gets better soon. Fighting TWICE!

THANK GOD they will remain as 9, i was so so scared thinking that mina will leave the group. TT. I cried while reading all of this :( especially when jihyo was crying. #GETWELLSOONMINARING
