the Seoul Metropolitan Police agency announces that due to the amount of evidence of financial transactions showing Seungri payed money for women in adult entertainment industries, soliciting in prostitution and are planning his arrest warrant. 

Seungri had invited 8 women from the adult entertainment industry for his birthday party in the Philippines with testimonies from the women showing that they were not forced to have sex with any male investors and that it was voluntary. 

Despite the women not being forced by Seungri to commit sexual acts, the police believe that the women were not close to Seungri and were invited with all their expenses paid indicates that it is considered Prostitution Solicitation. 

Evidence shows that the amount of money paid was hardly counted as money paid for their expenses leaning more into prostitution. the Police are still investigating the exact source of the ₩600,000,000 KRW ($528,457 USD) that Seungri spent on his birthday party.

As soon as the investigations are over,  the police plan to request an arrest warrant for Seungri for prostitution solicitation as well as charging him with distributing illegal footage, tax evasion, embezzlement, and violation the Food Sanitation Act. The Police also plan to have an arrest warrant ready for Yoo In Suk.
