Chatroom member reveals details on Jonghun's bribery attempt after his DUI

Former F.T. Island member Jonghun is accused of attempting bribery after driving under the influence back in 2016. He also came under fire for joking about the incident in the controversial chatroom, comparing the handcuffs to jewelry.  

On April 3, 'SBS News' exclusively reported a member of the chatroom confessed details during the police investigation. According to the chatroom member, Jonghun initially offered 2 million KRW (1,763 USD) to the police. When the officer declined, Jonghun offered a higher amount of 5 million KRW (4,407 USD) and then 10 million KRW (8,814 USD). 

However, the officer who was bribed claimed he was only offered 2 million KRW. The police are investigating the officer's text messages and bank statements for validation. The police also plan to call Jonghun for questioning again.
