Ayumi to focus solely on variety shows without any music activities

Ayumi's agency has confirmed that Ayumi will only focus on television appearances for the time being.

On March 23, a representative from BONBOO ENT announced that the singer-entertainer will not release music albums throughout her activities as of now. As reported, the former Sugar member had recorded an episode of 'Life Bar' as a guest, which was then aired on tvN on March 21. 

On the episode, Ayumi talked about her wishes to become an actress and to regain her bright image as a variety star again, as she had done during the early '00s as a permanent member of programs such as 'Love Letter' or 'X-Man'. 

Ayumi, one of the 1st-generation celebrities in K-Pop to come from Japan, had taken a 2-year hiatus from Korean variety shows from 2017 to 2019.
