Producer Kush leaves YG Entertainment to create own label

Artist and producer Kush has leftYG Entertainment to create his own label.

On February 19, reports revealed Kush, who was a producer under YG Entertainment's sub-label The Black Label, is officially leaving the agency to create an independent label. He previously debuted as an artist in 2003 and has been active as a composer and rapper since 2007. Kush has worked on hits like 2NE1's "I Don't Care" and Zion.T's "Yanghwa BRDG" as well as gaining attention from viewers of Mnet's hip hop survival show 'Show Me the Money 5'.

Kush has been away from the limelight since his 2017 cocaine controversy.
