Actor Sung Hoon shared why he stopped pursuing a career in swimming.
On the February 20 airing of JTBC's 'Give Me a Meal,' the MCs asked Sung Hoon, "Is it true you retired from swimming because of Park Tae Hwan?"
Sung Hoon answered, "Not really. Park Tae Hwan appeared when I was already wondering if I should quit swimming or not."
He explained, "I realized that I couldn't beat Park Tae Hwan if I continued swimming, so I decided to quit and quickly find a new path." Sung Hoon also shared, "I wasn't outstanding in any particular swimming stroke so I tried everything. I did the backstroke, individual medley, and then I quit after trying the butterfly."
