IZ*ONE to perform on Japan's 'Music Station'

IZ*ONE is coming on Japan's 'Music Station.'

'Music Station' is one of Japan's representative music shows, airing every week on TV Asahi. The project girl group from 'Produce 48' is appearing on the February 15th broadcast, according to the lineup on the show's official website.

Meanwhile, IZ*ONE recently released 'I Want to Say I Like You.' The Japanese debut single topped Oricon's single album chart, making IZ*ONE the K-pop girl group with the best first-day single sales in Japan.

Good for them, in fact I am happy with all the success they had with their Japanese debut but honestly to hell with that show. Especially that old fuck who is the host. Back when all that crap went down in November, the Japanese had made numerous articles about how proud they were because supposedly this cunt denied BTS coming over "either them or I am out". I am counting down the days until he reaches the underworld ~

show how EASY to profit from the stale Japanese idol market

AKB48's been doing it for years with mediocre effort, performance and quality of music , as long as you put some cute pedo girlsin the front you will receive tons of money from the otakus

IZ'ONE 's fan must be so proud

Wrong kpopper. Different market, different culture, different tastes, different expectations, and an entirely different system of pop group creation. As was proven quite convincingly in Produce 48, there is no lack of talent within 48 Group. The 48/46 Group system, unlike the kpop system does not want perfection from day one of debut. Being able to see the growth of the members is part of the equation. And unlike most kpop groups, the group continues on when members leave, and there is constantly new people coming in and older members leaving. So on the same stage you have baby rookies and 10 year Veterans - with vastly different skill levels, so the performances look unpolished - but that is what should be expected. It is not due to any lack of effort or motivation on the part of the girls. Also, unlike kpop girl groups, the focus of the fan is on individual members and not necessarily the group. Trying to compare kpop groups with 48 Group is comparing apples to oranges and is simply unfair. The 48 girls work just as hard as any kpop girl group member, maybe even harder. They just don't get the formal training and individual attention kpop girl group members get- they have to learn as they go, while performing live multiple times a week.
