Wanna One member Yoon Ji Sung's label MMO Entertainment confirmed to various news outlets on December 11 that the idol will likely enlist by the end of next year for his mandatory military service.
Yoon Ji Sung, born in 1991, is the oldest member of Wanna One and due to his age, he must enlist by the end of 2019. Previously, it was revealed that Yoon Ji Sung submitted an application for conscripted policeman exams. However, physical examinations for conscripted policeman applicants took place back on December 10, and Yoon Ji Sung was unable to attend due to other schedules. MMO Entertainment responded, "He has plans to reapply for conscripted policeman exams."
The label added, "Yoon Ji Sung has not received his summons for mandatory military service yet. However, he will enlist by the end of next year, so he is preparing in advance."
