Park Hae Mi's husband, musical director Hwang Min, expressed disappointment in his wife after his DUI arrest.

This past August, Hwang Min drove under the influence of alcohol and got into a car crash that resulted in the deaths of two people. Since then, Park Hae Mi has refused to see her husband and recently took responsibility for the tragedy on his behalf. Hwang Min has also decided not to hire any lawyers for his case.
Before entering the courthouse on October 4, Mr. Hwang spoke to reporters, stating, "I haven't been able to meet my wife because she didn't allow me to come home after the accident... I don't know what to say, and I'll receive the punishment for my sins. I apologize. I'll go with what the law determines."
However, he had a different attitude leaving the courthouse. He expressed, "I've lived with my wife for 25 years. If you're only family during happy times, then after this incident, I guess I don't have family anymore."
Park Hae Mi also commented to media outlets, "He's expressed his disappointment, but it just seems ridiculous to me. It made me think he's still immature. He sounds like someone who expects someone else to handle everything for him."
