Dallas painter has a successful exhibit and new fans thanks to BTS's V

V, V
Dallas painter Marc Dominus now has a compelling reason to become an ARMY.

According to D Magazine, during one September night of the Masstige exhibit at the Kettle Art Gallery in Dallas, where many of Dominus's art pieces were being exhibited. The gallery owner Frank Campagna noticed seven guys walk into the gallery, surrounded by security and a camera crew. Eventually, Campagna realized that the seven boys were none other than BTS! The group was in town for the two-night sold-out performance at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

BTS's V took a liking to two of Dominus's pieces, shown below. According to Dominus, it was one of his most recent pieces. They were sold to V at $450 a piece.

Dominus notes that he had never sold art to people he doesn't know: "I've probably sold 12 to 15 paintings, but I had never sold to a complete and total stranger. It has always been friends or friends of friends (From the interview with D Magazine)." This makes V his first "stranger customer".

Dominus felt BTS's global effect immediately. After he sold the initial two pieces, Dominus uploaded pictures of a mini replica of the piece on his Instagram. Six minutes later, the piece had been sold. Dominus thanked V for his generosity, "I am so thankful for famous artists like BTS to have bought two of my pieces (From the interview with D Magazine)."
