LOONA talked about their role model as a group.
During their debut showcase, the rookie girl group LOONA mentioned the legendary group Shinhwa as their role model. After 2 years of mere pre-debut preparations, the group shared their wishes to become a "long-lasting group like Shinhwa."
Member YeoJin especially expressed her personal respect and gratitude towards Shinhwa. She shared, "Shinhwa debuted even before I was born, but they are still active as a group. I want us to be together for a long time as well. I wish we could stay together for a hundred years."
After she revealed her age to the crowd (which was 17), YeoJin added that it is her mother who is the real 'Shinhwa Changjo', the original fan club of Shinhwa since the 90's. "Even though I have never met Shinhwa in real life, I've followed them closely through SNS thanks to my mother."
We wish that their dreams come true!
