CRAVITY members Allen and Wonjin have stepped up as MCs for a music program.
According to their agency, Starship Entertainment, the two were selected as hosts for the new season of Arirang TV’s global K-pop music show 'Simply K-Pop,' which premiered on April 10.
Through their agency, Allen and Wonjin shared, “We’re incredibly happy and grateful to be part of the new beginning of 'Simply K-Pop.' We’re excited and thrilled to show LUVITY (official fan club name) different sides of ourselves through this opportunity.” They added, “We’ll do our best to utilize the experience we’ve built so far to create an enjoyable and informative program alongside various artists. We also plan to actively communicate with global fans, so please look forward to it and show your support.”
The revamped 'Simply K-Pop' is expected to feature a wider range of performances and content, with a stronger focus on global interaction. As various K-pop artists appear on the show, Allen and Wonjin bring added energy and charm with their signature wit and vibrant presence.
Allen, known as an all-rounder who excels in dance, rap, and vocals, has consistently proven his musical abilities by participating in songwriting for CRAVITY’s tracks. He previously served as an MC for Arirang TV’s K-pop talk show 'After School Club' for about three years, actively engaging with global fans. He also appeared as a special MC on 'Simply K-Pop' in July last year, showcasing stable hosting skills. In addition, he was selected as an MC for the 10th anniversary 'AAA Festa ACON 2025,' leaving a strong impression on the global stage.
Wonjin has also been active across various fields since his debut, alongside his music career. Last year, he demonstrated his musical growth by including a self-composed track on CRAVITY’s second full-length album, 'Dare to Crave.' He has showcased his natural variety skills through diverse content and broadcasts, proving his sharp sense of entertainment as a special MC for music shows and a special radio DJ on multiple occasions. In particular, he has stood out in CRAVITY’s own content CRAVITY Park, leading a lively atmosphere with his quick wit and engaging talk.
With both artists having consistently shown versatility across different areas, they are expected to create strong synergy as MCs of 'Simply K-Pop.'
The new season of 'Simply K-Pop,' hosted by Allen and Wonjin, premiered on April 10 at 1 PM (KST) on Arirang TV for global audiences.
