TV personality Amy has increased her weight for a study.
On August 27, Amy shocked netizens by uploading photos of herself with a heavy figure. Under the photos, she captioned, "Gained a lot of fat. Let's lose it together."
To media outletE Daily, Amy explained,"I've gained weight up to 90kg (198lbs). I purposely increased my weight for a study." She explained, "I've recently started a cosmetic business. I've been studying the fat distribution and its effects and I'm trying to prove the efficacy with my body."

Amy added, "You may be startled because I suddenly uploaded photos of me with increased weight but I've exercised simultaneously so there are no issues with my health. There was a bit of embarrassment while uploading the photos but I want to proudly show the positive changes."
Meanwhile, Amy has been residing in the United States after getting deported from South Korea in 2015 due to drug-relatedissues. She has been continuously trying to return to Korea. Regarding this, Amy commented, "I don't know when I would be able to return to Korea but if the doors open then I want to become someone who can contribute to society."
