Netizens voted for the hottest girl group of 2018 (first half)!
On July 18, online survey company PMIheld a poll on the hottest girl group in the first half of 2018. A total of 1,500 netizens in the age range of their teens to 50's voted.
Out of the bunch, Red Velvet, who performed "Red Flavor" at the historic North Korea concert earlier this year, gained the most votes (27.4%).In second place is MAMAMOO (20.5%). The quartet gained the title of 'Music Chart Queen' with their continuoushits. Next in third place isCeleb Five. The comedy girl group with their impressive dance performance broughtamazement, as well as laughter to many viewers.
Black Pink, also the fastestK-Pop group to reach 100 million and 200 million MV views, is ranked at #4 (16.7%). In fifth place comes TWICE (10.1%). The JYP Entertainmentgirl group gained immense success in Japan. Sixth place went to A Pink(8.9%), who took a drastic change in concept from pure to sexy this year.
