On July 26, media outlets reported that the actor is in a relationship with a non-celebrity, who is a doctor of oriental medicine and 9 years his junior. It's stated the girlfriend was a longtime fan of Shin Dong Wook.
Shin Dong Wook's agency, Snowball Entertainment, confirmed the news and told Herald Pop, "Shin Dong Wook is dating a doctor of oriental medicine that's 9 years his junior. They started dating in the spring. We will have to check on the part about her being his longtime fan."
Meanwhile, Shin Dong Wook recently made a long-awaited comeback in 7 years through 'Mask King' and 'The Guardians' after suffering from a rare, incurable disease. He's currently scheduled to play the lead in upcoming MBC variety drama 'Dae Jang Geum Is Watching' with Girls' Generation's Yuri.
