The trainers on 'Produce 48' talked about the differences they see in Korean and Japanese trainees.
On the June 22 airing, the trainees started practicing the theme song "Pick Me", which has both Korean and Japanese lyrics. After practice time, each of the trainees filmed performance videos for a re-evaluation.
While watching the clips, the trainers noticed that the Japanese trainees lacked dance skills compared to the Korean trainees but still pushed it through till the end, even if they didn't know the moves or the lyrics to the song. On the other hand, some Korean trainees did not sing the Japanese part at all and only danced. The trainers praised the Japanese trainees for their hard effort.
