Gong Yoo expressed interest in 'Goblin 2'.
On June 24, Gong Yoo visited Taipei, Taiwan to promote the Asus ZenFone 5. The event organizers prepared an early birthday party for the actor, who will be turning 39 (40 in Korean age) on July 10.
Gong Yoo reacted surprised at the unexpected birthday cake and brought laughter as he said, "You are making me 40 early like this."
When asked to make a wish, Gong Yoo said, "First, I hope everyone here is always happy and healthy," and added, "I hope to greet you guys with a good production. It's my wish to meet an amazing production that you guys will love."
The MC then asked, "Do you have plans to participate in 'Goblin 2' if there is one?" Gong Yoo answered, "They probably don't have plans (for a sequel) but if there is, would they give me an offer? The MC replied, "Of course, you are irreplaceable." To this, Gong Yoo said, "There's no reason why I wouldn't do it (if given an offer)."
