Cho, the murderer of actress Song Seon Mi's husband, has received his sentence.
On March 16, judge Choi Byung Chul of Seoul Central District Court sentenced 22 years of penal servitude for Cho. The 28-year-old has been charged with murder for the death of Mr. Ko. His prison sentence is heavier than the 15 years demanded by the prosecutor, as his crime was deemed extremely cruel.

In August 2017, Song Seon Mi's husband Mr. Ko was found dead at an office in Gangnam. The police announced Mr. Ko has been stabbed to death. The investigation revealed that Cho committed the murder at the request of Mr. Ko's cousin who promised 2 billion KRW (1.9 million USD).
