On the 4th episode of XtvN's 'Super TV', Super Junior faced off against foreigners in a quiz battle.

Before the contest started, the members of Super Junior asked the opposing players how long they've been in Korea for. While going through each person, Zhang Yuan revealed he was born in 1984 when Heechul asked, "What about Yuan hyung?" Once the Super Junior member heard the reply, he was taken back as he thought Zhang Yuan was older than him up to now and jokingly said, "Then why have you been acting like you're older than me? I thought he was a hyung. But since I'm used to and comfortable saying 'hyung', I'll just keep saying it."
