On February 15, Baekhyun publicized a sasaeng fan's phone number during an Instagram live. As many expected, the number that was revealed ended up receiving loads of calls from EXO-Ls.

However, the owner of the publicized number expressed frustration and begged fans to stop calling. On the status message, s/he vented, "I heard Baekhyun called out my number but I don't even know how many members EXO has. It's not this number TT," In English, the person also put, "I don't know his phone no. (number) Pls stop the call. [sic] I'm not the fan."
Netizens are now criticizing Baekhyun for calling out the number and causing trouble to an innocent person. Comments stated, "The owner of the number is now going to be terrorized with phone calls... what now... Baekhyun needs to clean this mess up."
