First up is actress Shin Hye Sun at the 'KBS Drama Awards.' Her floor-length princess diamond-like dress is flawlessly matched with her slightly curled hair pulled back in a ponytail. If the actress had put her hair down or had more gaudy jewelry it would have competed too much with her one�piece but she kept all the other elements simple to shine the spotlight on this gorgeous dress.

In a completely different style, Sunmi went for the asymmetrical coat and white ankle boots at the 'SBS Gayo Daejun.' Being the true fashionista that she is, the simple look was still able to pop with her retro white boots and bright orange highlight in the embroidered floral pattern on her coat.

WINNER's Jin Woo also came to the 'SBS Gayo Daejun' dressed to impress. Although all the WINNER members looked amazing, Jin Woo particularly stood out with his all-black look layering a turtle-neck, blazer and gorgeous knee-length coat paired with his bold red hair. He seemed like an anime prince coming to life.

Blue velvet blazers were unquestionably a trend for males across the ceremonies this year but Woo Do Hwan was the one that pulled it off the best. At the 'KBS Drama Awards,' he kept it simple, pairing the jacket with a white shirt, bowtie, and slightly ruffled hair. As they say, sometimes simple is better.

At the Hong Kong 'Mnet Asian Music Awards,' also know as 'MAMA,' Song Ji Hyo took a risk with her daring geometrically cut one-piece. The dress gave the impression of an art piece rather than something to wear with its black and blue colors patterning to create abstract shapes while showing off slivers of skin in a sexy but subtle way.

HyunA went for the leather look at the 'KBS Gayo Festival.' Leather jacket and leather mini skirt matched with her bright red lips, glittery jewelry, and her platinum blond hair gave her an edgier look, that's not as often seen at the award shows.

Although women have the option of choosing from a range of dresses in various styles, guys often don't have as many options and many times stick to the simple black suit look. However, Park Bo Gum's decorated black jacket definitely caught the eye with its beautiful details and intricacy. But then again, Park Bo Gum could pretty much wear anything and still be as eye-catching as he was at 'MAMA.' I MEAN THAT FACE.

Last but not least is Suzy and her gorgeous gradient, sparkling blue dress from the 'SBS Drama Awards.' Award shows are usually full of black and white attire but Suzy decided to take a different route with her royal and sky blue, floor-length piece. Under the camera flashes and lights of the red carpet, the dress sparkles and twinkles, definitely making it one of the most magical dresses across the board of the year-end ceremonies.
