On the January 2 airing of SBS Power FM's 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time', Jang Moon Bok talked about a possible hairstyle change in 2018.
During the radio show, the rookie idol talked about his iconic long hairstyle and revealed, "This year, I want to show myself with short hair." DJ Choi Hwa Jung asked if he ever tried tying it up, and Jang Moon Bok replied, "I have but they all told me I look like a grandma."

He continued, "It's been 4 years since I started growing it out. I never noticed that I had good hair until people started telling me so. Then I started to take care of it more."
