YouTube has revealed the top 10 most popular music videos in Korea this past year for the media website's annual 'YouTube Rewind'!
The top 10 list was compiled by calculating views, watch times, shares, comments, and likes by Korean YouTube users. As you can see below, the most popular MV in South Korea in 2017 was TWICE's "Knock Knock"! Following in descending order are TWICE's "Signal", IU's "Palette", Psy's "I Luv It", Psy's "New Face", Red Velvet's "Red Flavor", Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You", Black Pink's "As If It's Your Last", IU's "Through the Night", and at #10 was Akdong Musician's "Last Goodbye".
K-Pop group BTS also made the 'YouTube Rewind 2017' trend list for their music video "DNA". YouTube wrote, "A splash of color makes a huge splash. BTS grabbed viewers attention with colorful hair, dance moves, and backdrops, making it the biggest debut by a K-Pop group ever. We couldn't look away from their music video for DNA."
