The emergency crew at the scene of Jonghyun's suicide engaged in an interview with KBS2's 'Entertainment Weekly'.
Paramedic Kim Hui Seung�described how the late artist was found at the residential hotel. Kim stated, "The place was filled with smoke. We searched for the patient after letting out the smoke and he was found lying next to the bed. He already had no movements or heartbeat when we arrived."

On December 18, Jonghyun was declared dead from carbon monoxide poisoning. His funeral procession took place on the 21st with SM artists, family, friends, and fans.�
