The CEO of Big Hit Entertainment was asked if there are any plans in the near future for BTS to make English songs and target the American market specifically during a press conference that took place at the Gocheok Sky Dome.

He answered, "That would be a different direction from where we're aiming towards. Teaching all K-Pop singers English and signing with an American agency to be loved by fans overseas would not be considered K-Pop." He continued, "If that was the case, that would just be an Asian singer in an American market and cannot be an industrial model. When BTS tells their story through Korean, ARMY translates the songs - while the languages may differ, the message is still the same and therefore, we'll continue to make music in Korean."

Bang Si Hyuk also asked everyone to refrain from calling him 'Father of BTS'. He explained, "It isn't right for me to decide on a concept and then the members entering that specific concept. Their success is the result of listening carefully and noting the growth, happiness, and concerns of each member. I ask people to not call me 'Father of BTS'. I do not think artists are products of someone else. When I was referred as a 'father' to them, it seemed like BTS became an object I created which doesn't align with my philosophy."
