32nd annual 'Golden Disk Awards' announces official dates + award standards

The 'Golden Disk Awards' will be returning for its 32nd year this January of 2018!

The ceremony's side officially announced on December 5 that the awards will take place for two days this January 10-11 at 5PM KST, at the Ilsan Kintex. The January 10 ceremony will be for digital awards, and the January 11 ceremony, for album awards. The awards will be broadcast live on JTBC and JTBC2. 

According to the 'Golden Disk Awards', awardees will be determined with digital downloads and streams and album sales as the most important contributing factor. Awards will include Daesang in both the digital and the album category, as well as rookie awards, special awards, and more. 

The 'Golden Disk Awards' is the oldest music award ceremony in Korea, having begun in 1986. Look out for the awards' performer lineup coming soon!
