IU has reportedly been cast in the leading role of a tvN drama.
A drama insider said, "IU has been cast as the lead female in tvN drama 'My Mister'." She'll be playing the role of Lee Ji An, who is a temp worker with a lot of debt to pay back. The drama has also cast Lee Sun Kyun, Song Sae Byuk, and Na Moon Hee.

Since the reports, tvN has stepped up to confirm the casting to be true. 'My Mister' is planning to air early next year, and will start filming some time this month. Sounds like IU will be back on the small-screen soon!
