In a recent interview, actress Kim Tae Hee opened up about appearance anxiety as she aged.
Kim Tae Hee reveals that as she turned 30, she started noticing her aging, and began feeling anxious about her appearance in her late 30s. Known for her gorgeous beauty, Kim Tae Hee is named one of the most beautiful stars in Korea since her debut in 2001. She is also frequently noted for her natural beauty, with many photos of her childhood and past reflecting her huge doe eyes and well-defined features.
Kim Tae Hee elaborates that when she entered her 40s, she became more accepting of the natural process of aging and that some things are out of her control. Once she found peace, she also began to discover other strengths and charms she had, and embraced herself with more love.
Kim Tae Hee got married to singer and actor Rain in 2017, and they currently have two children. Dealing with household chores and childcare, she expresses that she does not spend much time in upkeeping her appearance. While she still receives regular laser skin treatment, she prefers to stay natural and not go overboard with it.
Kim Tae Hee most recently starred in the ENA drama series ‘Lies Hidden in My Garden’, co-starring Lim Ji Yeon. She has an upcoming project, the spy-thriller series ‘Butterfly’ by Amazon Prime Video, starring and produced by Daniel Dae Kim. ‘Butterfly’ will premiere all episodes on August 13.
