On June 20, actress Lee Sun Bin appeared on the YouTube channel Ji Suk Jin World, where she shared stories about her long-term relationship with actor Lee Kwang Soo for the first time.
During the episode, Ji Suk Jin, who met Lee Sun Bin again after their time on 'Running Man,' brought up Lee Kwang Soo, saying it was impossible not to mention him. Lee Sun Bin responded casually and said it was fine to talk about it.
Ji Suk Jin said that Lee Kwang Soo is very sweet and revealed that he had received a message from him asking to take good care of Lee Sun Bin on the show. Lee Sun Bin laughed and said she had told him she was nervous before filming.
The couple first started dating after Lee Sun Bin mentioned on 'Running Man' that Lee Kwang Soo was her ideal type. Ji Suk Jin admitted that he initially thought she was joking.
Lee Sun Bin explained that she was still a rookie actress at the time. She had just been cast in the role of Jo Mi Joo in 'Squad 38'
after a competitive audition process. During a post-show interview, she mentioned her real ideal type, not expecting it to attract much attention.
She added that variety show writers had trouble finding much information about her online at the time. Her appearance on 'Running Man' was planned around guests who had chosen Lee Kwang Soo as their ideal type. Although she had mentioned him as her ideal, Lee Sun Bin clarified that Lee Kwang Soo was the one who made the first move and put effort into developing the relationship.
Later in the episode, Ji Suk Jin called Lee Kwang Soo and gave him a quiz about Lee Sun Bin to see how well he knows her. Although Lee Kwang Soo confidently said he would get everything right, he missed a few answers. While he correctly guessed that she prefers jajangmyeon over jjamppong and the sea over mountains, he failed to name her favorite color, which is orange.
When asked to say a few words to Lee Kwang Soo, Lee Sun Bin smiled and stumbled slightly, saying, "Just… do well and come back safe," which brought laughter to the studio.
