
Singer Kevin Oh (birth name Oh Won Geun), who recently completed his mandatory military service, expressed his affection for his wife, actress Gong Hyo Jin, in a heartfelt post.
On June 22, Kevin Oh uploaded several photos to his Instagram with the caption “army photo dump.” The post featured snapshots from his time in service as well as moments from his everyday life after discharge. Among them, one couple photo with Gong Hyo Jin particularly drew attention.

In the photo, Kevin is seen in uniform, standing tall and looking into the camera. Behind him, Gong Hyo Jin lovingly wraps her arms around him in a gentle back hug. The quiet tenderness between the two radiates through the image, offering a glimpse into their close bond.
Kevin Oh was officially discharged from the military on June 17 after completing 18 months of service as a sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army.
Despite being born in the United States and not being required to serve, he voluntarily enlisted in December 2023 to build a stable life in Korea with his wife and expand his musical career domestically.
Kevin and Gong Hyo Jin tied the knot in October 2022 in a private ceremony held in New York, drawing warm support from fans around the world.
As he returns to civilian life, expectations are growing for Kevin Oh’s next steps. His agency stated, “Now that he’s back after a long wait, Kevin will reconnect with fans through deeper emotions and more heartfelt music. In addition to music, he is preparing for diverse activities including TV appearances and live performances.”
Kevin Oh made his debut in the Korean music scene by winning 'Superstar K7' in 2015. Since then, he has released a number of lyrical and sentimental tracks, including “Lover”, “Stardust”, and “You, My Comfort.”
