A male cast member who appeared on the reality programs 'I Am Solo' and its spinoff 'I Am Solo: Love Continues' has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
According to Seoul Mapo Police on June 24 (KST), a man in his 30s, identified as Park, was taken into custody on charges of quasi-rape. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. KST on June 21 in a parking lot located in the Seogyo-dong area of Mapo District, Seoul. Park allegedly assaulted a woman in her 20s while she was in a state unable to resist.
Police confirmed that Park was arrested and that they are currently investigating the full circumstances of the alleged assault. They have also implemented victim protection measures.
Park had gained public attention through his appearance on the popular dating reality show 'I Am Solo' and its follow-up series 'I Am Solo: Love Continues'. Following his arrest, the production team behind the programs released a brief statement saying, "We are currently verifying the matter."
