On August 7, UEE made her first public appearance since the breakup news with Kangnam at the press conference for new KBS2 drama 'Manhole'.
At the event, the idol-turned-actress addressed the issue for the first time and stated, "I apologize for disappointing and causing concern to many with my personal matters. I will work hard not to do so from now on. I've also deleted social media. I want to deliver an apology to all."
When the dating news involving UEE and Kangnam first broke out, UEE responded in strong denial via Instagram, stating that it's true the two have become very close through 'Laws of the Jungle' but it's wrong to assume that they're dating. However, the rumors turned out to be true after all.
Meanwhile, the first episode of 'Manhole' starring UEE, Jaejoong, Jung Hye Sung, and B1A4's Baro is airing on August 9.
