"We were always thrown under the bus the entire time the program aired. There were even times when life-threatening comments were made, but I feel like that was clear evidence the show was receiving much attention from the masses," PD Ahn Joon Young explained.
"I don't get upset when I receive hatefulcomments but I felt really bad when such despiteful words were geared towards the trainees. So every time that happened, I would warn the trainees 'don't read negative feedback, but only read the positive ones.'"
The PD went on, "After reading the negative comments, the trainees would feel intimated and lack confidence...Regardless of the hate, I was really proud to see the trainees not give up in the midst of all the attention and practice hard."He also mentioned Wanna One and the fellow trainees, "I wish Wanna One and the others would only read positive feedback and hope for the best."
