Mnet's upcoming variety show 'Idol School' has been accused of plagiarism.

The variety show recently released the MV to "Cause You're Pretty", the theme song for the variety show. However, viewers noticed that the MV was very similar to a Japanese CF. The MV and CF share identical scenes such as water coming out from the roof, the position of the girls, as well as the angle of the shots.

Mnet denied the accusations, saying, "The program is based on a 'school', and space where many students can dance in a school is limited to the gymnasium, classroom, hallway, rooftop, etc. The water being sprayed during the dance scenes is a method already used in many movies. The similarities between the two contents are because of the limitations of the space as well as because of filming method that is widely used. It just looks similar because of the necessary limitations."

What do you think of Mnet's statement?
