I dont understand the deal with people in comments telling to find a better English speaking idol for interview... why?? 1st of all english is not THE language of the world which everyone should know, yet most of the asians are multilingual and learn and adopt multiple language.. you will never know how difficult it is to know multiple language.. fluency will be lost if you dont converse for a while.. Idols are humans and for Khun he speaks so many languages  that it will be so difficult for him.. give him a chance.. there is a 1st time for all.. even u and i walked nervously on the stage for the 1st time for giving a speech and stuttered with simple words...

It would be golden if she could troll him with some reference to Chinese actress Victoria Song, now that Ice Fantasy is on Netflix.

Raikko Friday, March 17, 2017

I thought Eric Nam is doing it. Well......

takit Raikko Friday, March 17, 2017

Eric Nam, his english speaking voice is terrible.

khunny Raikko Friday, March 17, 2017

Nichkhun's English is much better than Eric.

SaVanityVan khunny Friday, March 17, 2017

Eric was born and raised in an english speaking country, his english is as perfect as could be. Whatever reason he's not doing it, it's not because of his english lol

xiahammett Raikko Saturday, March 18, 2017

Khun's english is way better than Eric. Lol Khun's a grammar Nazi too. Hahahaha i remember him correcting Taec's grammar before.

I hope he asks her look at his Asian face and tell him how it feels to take another role away from his race.

jo_nelly madforthis Friday, March 17, 2017

Lmao dude, you're so crazy

madforthis jo_nelly Friday, March 17, 2017

LOL. I'll take that as a compliment. I know it's just for PR. Asian stars interview international celebs all the time. It's just with all the white-wash controversy, it's easy to imagine this interview as a subtle 'fuck you' from whoever set it up.

So any Asian film version of a Western story based on a book, film, or other cultural influence must cast Europeans. Funny, the 1985 Japanese film "Ran" - which was a direct adaptation of Shakespeare's "King Lear" didn't have any White guys in it. Europeans were robbed by yet another Asian cultural appropriation! Call UNESCO!!!

madforthis 3percenter Friday, March 17, 2017

King Lear has been done thousands of times by white actors. There are European productions that still do it every year and there have been films. Besides, that's not the same thing as what's happening now. An ASIAN ADAPTATION as in re-adapting a European production into a Asian setting with Asian actors is not the same thing as an Asian playing a white role. Just like the new Ghost in the Shell is not a wholly AMERICAN ADAPTATION of a Japanese production where it would be set in America with a complete American overhaul of the characters .Instead, the whole thing is set in Japan yet the main cast is mostly white even though some still retain their Asian names and the only Asians are side characters or villains. Congratulations for completely missing the point. Now please take your uneducated ass somewhere else and let the adults talk in peace.

You know at first I didn't want SJ to play Motoko either, because I really wanted an Asian actress to do this role, however, the character itself doesn't look Asian, and no one really knows if she was Asian as a human because Motoko Kusanagi is not her real name. Same with Kuze. Batou was never Asian to begin with, and the characters that are actually Japanese for sure like Daisuke and Togusa are played by Japanese actors. I understand your point though, this could have been a good opportunity for an Asian actress, but let's not hate Scarlett when this is not even her fault.
