Recently, DSP Media announced that Hyunjoo will be permanently leaving the group and a new member will be replacing her. Word was that Yoon Chae Kyung from 'Produce 101' would most likely replace Hyunjoo. Yoon Chae Kyung is also known by fans for having appeared on 'Kara Project', as well as for promoting in I.B.I after 'Produce 101'.
The rumors were true as on November 11 (KST), DSP Media officially announced, "Yoon Chae Kyung will be joining April as a new member. Currently, an album is in production, and she will be joining the group starting from those next promotions."

April is now a group of 5 with Jinsol, Chaewon, Yena, Naeun, and Yoon Chae Kyung.
