Singer Lee Seok Hoon celebrated his 10th wedding anniversary with a heartwarming donation with his family.
On January 19, his agency C9 Entertainment said in a statement, “To mark his 10th wedding anniversary, Lee Seok Hoon donated 10 million KRW (~6,791 USD) to Konkuk University Hospital alongside his family to support the recovery of low-income pediatric patients.”
On the 17th, the day of his 10th wedding anniversary, Lee Seok Hopn shared through his personal Instagram account, saying “To celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, I have made a small donation in our family’s name to support children from low-income families with their medical treatments, with the desire to give back at least a fraction of the love we have received so far.”
He added, “I hope these children, who deserve to be loved unconditionally, can grow up healthy, filled with more laughter than pain and more love than worry.”
“Though it is a small gesture, I hope it brings a bit of strength to someone’s day. We will continue to live our lives by sharing our hearts with others.”
During this time, Lee Seok Hoon has consistently practiced warm interest and sharing toward children based on his deep affection for his family. He donated the entire proceeds from his self-composed song “It Was You,” which was released to commemorate his son’s 100th day, to child patients.
During the COVID-19 period, the singer spread positive influence by donating through the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation (ChildFund Korea). Furthermore, he has provided practical help by sponsoring childcare supplies for infant care facilities, participating in talent donation campaigns to read fairy tales for children in reading-underprivileged groups, and joining the national children’s song production project for the 100th anniversary of Children's Day.
Lee Seok Hoon released his 5th mini-album ‘New Purpose’ last year. Currently, he is appearing in the musical “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” demonstrating solid internal strength as a musical actor with stable vocals and delicate expressive power.
