Chuu has shared a personal story about having a long, unrequited crush that lasted seven years.
On January 20, Chuu appeared on Kian84’s YouTube channel, where she opened up about her experience with one-sided love. During the episode, Chuu talked about her latest album, 'XO, My Cyberlove,' while enjoying Shabu shabu with Kian84.
During the casual talk, Kian84 brought up the topic of the lyrics Chuu had written for her album and asked how she was inspired to write the lyrics regarding love. Chuu responded by saying, "I get them from watching movies," to which Kian84 responded with skepticism and asked, "You get inspired by movies?"
Chuu continued to share, "Of course!" and added, "I once became a topic of conversation for having a really long crush for seven years." She explained, “It was exactly seven years, from elementary school until my third year of middle school.”
She recalled what first drew her to him, saying, “I fell for him because of how passionate he looked when he played soccer.”
As for why the crush never turned into a relationship, Chuu admitted, “I was the only one who knew. If he mentioned which academy he went to, I’d follow him there.” She added with a laugh, “I’d just secretly glance at him from time to time.”
When Kian84 suggested she should tell him about it at least once, Chuu replied, “He already knows.” She went on to explain, “He knows now. I’m still close with a friend from elementary school, and I told that friend about it a long time ago. Apparently, when he heard, he felt shy.”
After Kian84 commented, “He seems like a nice guy,” Chuu responded, “That kind of thing is what I liked about him.” Kian84 jokingly added, “If it were me, I would’ve bragged about it endlessly.” He made Chuu laugh by continuing, "I would've said, 'Did you guys hear that? She used to like me."
