Woman beats old man for 'looking at her funny'

In a video capture of the woman's attack, you can see her beat on the old man multiple times with her heels and clutch, aiming at his legs and head. When passersby attempted to restrain her, the woman turned on them and slapped one of them on the cheek.�

A witness who happened to be at the scene stated, "She just acted up out of nowhere. The old man was asking [people] to report her to the police."�

A police officer further relayed that the woman's father said she "doesn't suffer from any sort of mental illness."�

Aside from her testimony that she beat the old man for "looking at her funny," the woman is keeping her mouth shut, exercising her right to remain silent.�

The police have arrested the woman for charges of assault. Because the motive behind the woman's attack is unclear, the police are investigating the case keeping in mind the possibility that it may be a 'don't ask (instances of violent attacks on people for no particular reason)' incident.�
