Jessica, who made her exit from Girls' Generation in 2014, answered a few questions about her thoughts on girl groups in a recent interview with TV Report.

The interviewer asked, "As a solo artist who was once a member of top girl group Girls' Generation, what do you think of the rookie group IOI?" Jessica responded, "If later on, my daughter wants to be in a girl group, then I think I am going to oppose."

She continued, "It's hard becoming a member of a girl group among so many competitors. You have to have luck and also need to work hard. I was in Girls' Generation because of luck, and fortunately, Girls' Generation received a lot of love." Jessica once again emphasized her previous response, concluding, "I would want to help my daughter walk a different career path."

What do you think of Jessica' comments about girl groups?
