Following the announcement of Hyunseung's departure from B2ST, attention is rising towards his solo career. Many fans now wonder if Hyunseung will stay in Cube Entertainment, or leave the label for a complete new start. In fact, the end of B2ST's contract with Cube is fast approaching, set for this October.

On April 19, Cube Entertainment spoke up on this matter, stating, "B2ST and Hyunseung, all 6 of them are looking toward contract renewals at the end of October. We are continuously discussing it, as it the most important issue upon us. As of now, it would be best for all of us to think with an open mind."
B2ST and Hyunseung's military enlistment is also gaining attention. All 6 of them have to leave for the military sooner or later. Many netizens assume that Hyunseung will most likely move on to another label, and then go serve in the military.
