Actor Choi Min Soo, who had gotten physically violent with the producer of KBS2 TV's 'A Look At Myself,' was reported to have departed from the show on his own accord.
'A Look At Myself's production crew released a statement earlier this afternoon, saying, "We apologize about the incidents that have surrounded our show. Choi Min Soo delivered his intention to voluntarily step off the program."
Choi Min Soo himself related through the production crew, "I apologize towards the viewers who have been watching me and I'm also sorry about causing a disturbance for the program. I hope that the staff and guests won't be troubled any longer."
Back on August 19, Choi Min Soo had gotten into a heated debate with producer Lee during the filming of 'A Look At Myself.' Choi Min Soo visited Lee to apologize and reconcile; however, criticism towards the actor didn't dissipate and the Korea Association of Independent Producers had demanded the pulling of Choi Min Soo from the show.
Due to this incident, KBS didn't air the episode of 'A Look At Myself' that was supposed to air on August 21 and even edited out Choi Min Soo's portion on 'Immortal Song.'
