The agency revealed the news on July 31, by stating, "He has renewed his contract which had nearly a year left before it ended."

The CEO stated, "Even though there's nearly a year left before his contract ends, in order to build the long-run plan towards his future activities, Park Seo Joon was the first to express intention to renew his contract. We will continue to trust and have steady communication with Park Seo Joon for his lively promotions, and wholeheartedly support him so he can grow."
