Swings wrote, "I hope everyone is doing well! I received my placement yesterday. Starting today, until August 24, 2016, I will be a bandsman! Until then, I will no longer be known as Swings, but will be serving in the military life as private Moon Ji Hoon."
He continued, "I've cried and laughed from all the letters that I've received from everyone during my training days at division 55. I'm planning on not writing much during my military days but since I like sharing my thoughts! Adults would tell me [before my enlistment], 'Ji Hoon, think of it as a vacation,' so I thought of it so. But now that I'm here, I quickly realized that that wouldn't be the case."
The rapper then revealed his thoughts after completing his training, and gave a subtle shoutout to his company, Just Music. He wrote, "I realized why there are 'soldiers' in the occupation part when we register in websites. So I want to genuinely say this. I've come to respect the elders, hyung and nunas, friends, and those who are younger, who have offered their youths to the nation and the military. I didn't think I would love choco pie so much and have never cried this much. So I think that is the reason why I think this is the place that made me realize who I really am. Now, becoming stronger is the only way for me, so I will run towards it. Please love Just Music even without me. Thank you, with love, private Moon Ji Hoon!"
Meanwhile, the rapper also included his address to his base so that fans can continue to send love and support his way during his two years in the military.
