The actor shared through his agency, "From the script, which made my heart go pit-a-pat whenever I read it, to the meticulous director, and family-like staff and entire cast including Kim So Eun and Shin Sung Rok, I think it was a production that showcased perfect teamwork in all aspects... Thus, the little-over 2 months for the 12 episodes feel even shorter. I wish we could've worked together for longer."

He continued, "I'm personally thankful for the opportunity to act out a different image from what I've shown up until now. I prepared a lot for 'Liar Game', so I'm happy that [viewers] didn't look at it in a bad light. It was truly a happy production... I want to say that I'm really thankful to the viewers who are sadder than I am [that it's over] and were with us until the end. Thanks to the support of many people, I was able to give a more vivid portrayal of Ha Woo Jin. I will continue to become an actor who doesn't disappoint you."
