According to one media outlet's report on the 29th, Mr. K (29) approached Ms. B, who was 17 at the time, at restaurant in Dongaegu, Busan back in October 2010 and took her to a motel where he attempted to rape her. The man introduced himself as a 'comedian who features on a program' and after drinking with a few women at the motel, he started to touch and attempted to force himself on Ms. B, who managed to flee the scene.

With this report gaining spotlight, SBS rep told Sports DongA on the 29th, "We also don't know the full inside story. We are currently confirming the facts... Once we confirm the truth, we will release our statement."

SBS later responded, "Comedian Mr. K made his debut through open recruitment on 'Oot Chat Sa' in 2009, but he mostly appeared on another broadcast station for several years... SBS will not be allowing K on the program anymore."

On why the case has taken so long to get into the legal proceedings, the prosecution remarked, "As K has stated that he has been wrongly accused, the investigation took a long time... As he has now been indicted, we believe that his wrongdoing will be revealed in the trial."
