So Ji Sub doesn't think idols acting is a bad thing

The gaze toward most idol actors and actresses hasn't been favorable as of late. When asked about how he felt on idols acting, including INFINITE's L playing his child counterpart in the new SBS drama 'The Sun of My Lord', he joked, "Sometimes, I also go visit the music industry, so I don't think I have the right to say anything. I have to look good, too."

On a more serious note, he said, "When idols come to act, they film not as idols but as actors. I filmed with them a lot, and they work hard as actors. They work hard not to receive criticism, so that's good. Idols are good [at acting]. Also, no one's good at something from the very beginning. I hope people can keep watching them. You know, I was really bad at first, too."
